About this property
Selbstversorger Gruppenhaus im Idyllischen Schwarzwald
Our house is located at the end of the Wolftal valley in a small area surrounded by woods and two streams. The Holzwälder Höhe is over 200 years old and offers up to 8 bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cosy, spacious living room.
Please note that for small groups (up to 20 people), we provide a maximum of 5 rooms. If you still need all the rooms, please contact us directly.
You can explore the Black Forest directly from the house via countless hiking trails—including the Glaswaldsee, the Burgbach Waterfalls, or the Wolf and Bear Park. Would you like to spend an idyllic day at the Waldbad on the Kniebis or take a stroll through Freudenstadt? With the KONUS guest card, you can ride buses and trains for free—the bus stop is right next to the house.
We are a self-catering property. We provide: - Yellow trash bags & organic waste bags (disposal of general waste is subject to a fee!) - Bath mats - Hand soap - Mattress protectors - Pillows & blankets
You can arrange drink service and catering through the Schlüssel restaurant in the village.
Please note that this is not a party venue. We have immediate neighbors and expect our guests to respect and observe the legally mandated quiet hours. We do not accept bookings for high school graduation parties or youth groups.
Dogs are allowed here. The maximum is 2 dogs per stay. Since there are many dogs in the area and 2 dogs live in the house as well, guest dogs must be well-socialized. Cost per dog per night: EUR 15.00
Internet: The house offers free Wi-Fi. The area is not connected to the fiber-optic network. As a result, the internet is slow and may even go down completely from time to time. The Wi-Fi signal is not available throughout the entire house and is primarily limited to the first floor.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BOOKINGS (due to current circumstances): The number of guests booked is the binding maximum number of guests (including children ages 2 and up). If you wish to increase the number of guests after the cancellation window has closed, please contact me directly. If you exceed the booked number of guests without prior notice, this will be considered fraud and will result in automatic eviction without entitlement to a refund.
