"This is a very special place nestled in the jungle of a small village. The hot tub is fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped and the communication with Mary and José was fast and great. "This house was booked last minute for an improptu women's holiday because it was available and allowed a pet. The view of the lake is beautiful, but you can't get in and out to swim here. Many things were in disrepair like doors, windows, and screens. Linens, towels, water, toilet paper was not ready for us and had to be asked for and was stained and worn. The lagoon was calm when we visited and it was fun to use the kayaks and the boat tour of the lagoon originating right from the little pier at the hotel was exemplary. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the loud sound of leaf blowers to disturb the calm of this lovely resort so maybe not doing that every day would be so much better or hand raking…"
