The bed was also pretty stiff so I had a little trouble falling asleep but if you like a hard mattress you’ll sleep just fine. The hotel is right in front of a river and walking distance to the Kotohira-gu Shrine. I will definitely be booking again for my next trip to Kotohira!" The nearby Sanuki Kodomonokuni was SO MUCH FUN for the whole family and it is FREE!!! We could have spent two days just hanging out there doing the many activities! The breakfast was repetitive but had a good selection and it had things we all enjoyed! The airport has good restaurants if you don’t want to make your way back into town (where there are wonderful restaurants and of course the beautiful Ritsurin Gardens). The car dealership next door has a better vending machine than the hotel for soda pop, but the vending machines in the “resting room” (connect to the unseen change rooms) had good options, and a whole machine of ice cream."
