Nice condo
We had a good time, not everything was perfect but overall nice. The good: it was nice and clean ans the instructions were easy to follow. The not so good: the couch was broken and half of the lights didnt work

Very nice and Quiet
Beautiful property. Deer everywhere. The condo had everything I needed and was very nice. The Island is lovely and you do not have to worry about other people. It seems empty. Only a few people live there. Two days I saw no people, just deer. The lake is right out of the patio. No houses across the lake. just a state park.

Great Experience, Responsive manager, Check-in process needs work!
The good: The location is right on Colorado river/ Lake. Good view. The property is clean and was adequate for the 4 of us. It had everything needed including dishwasher, washer dryer, utensils, pots/pans, beddings etc. needed. The property amenities, 3 pools, hot tubs, gym, sauna, etc. were also good and we used them. The board games at the apartment were also of help. The restroom was clean. There were deer close to the property and they did not run away as we drew near. That was a wonderful experience. I wish we had gone when the temperature was not over a 100 degrees each day, but coupled with the Texas game the timing worked for us. The property manager Jennifer was very responsive and frankly saved the day. So-so: The balcony had lots of cobwebs and could have used a bit of cleaning, but at least the outside couch was covered and there was a fan. The pull out couch did not work, this would have been a negative, except the provided air mattress worked really well and ended up being comfortable for our kids. Not so good: We did not get the email from VRBO with the entry gate code. The front gate lady would not let us in and was adamant about us getting the code from the owner. We had gotten an email with the check in process but it had the parking spot number and apartment door code... but no apartment number, outside gate code, etc. After a long day, it was not ideal to have to go through this with a tired family. So check for the code!

Needs a good cleaning
Even though the listing states that high touch surfaces are cleaned with disinfectant, this clearly is not the case. The place needs a GOOD cleaning. The stove burners and cookware need replacing. The location is beautiful. The bed is very comfortable.

July long weekend
Checkin: we were not sent any information about how to get on to the property (gate code) unit or parking number etc. just door key code and owners phone number in case there were issues. Apparently this is a VRBO task so out of control of the owner but that is how we started Property: overall the property as a whole on the island is in some disrepair, fountains not working, dirty etc. the restaurant was not open at all while there despite the signs that said the open hours. They said they were up late and stayed open the night before we arrived, but planned to open the next day. They weren’t. it’s not quick to get back to Lago vista for a restaurant. Overall the property felt pretty empty, especially for a Long weekend. The unit was not clean. The furniture was visibly dirty, the walls the same, but the floors were swept etc. sheets were clean. We did find some rotten fruit behind a table that the cleaners had missed and we could smell. The outdoor furniture looked like a dog covered in mud had slept on it. Just all around the place needs a very good clean. The owners were responsive and helped where they could. We had no problems with them, just the unit and even more so the property could use some work

Pleasant peaceful condo, beautiful views, lovely decor, good accommodations. Indoor pool was a joy for our visiting grandkids. Loved the ever—present deer. WiFi relationship with Roku TV was problematic, so we ran a hotspot.

Gorgeous spot
The condo was beautiful, the view from the bedroom balcony couldn't be beat. The 2 outdoor pools also had spectacular views. Make sure you get ALL the check in info will in advance. The property manager saved us and was very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates and utensils. I would return.

Beautiful location
Overall it was a pleasant stay, beautiful view, and easy access to the pools and spa. The deer outside was a nice surprise and the villa is actually very large for a one bedroom one bath. Only negatives would be the low shower head and the water shut off on us the last day, but that was out of the owners control.

A great getaway. Great way to relax.

The property was amazing and would definitely come back just for that. The condo also was nice however wasn’t the cleanest. The toilet was dirty and floors not swept. The balcony was full of spiders. The washer and dryer looked like it was going to fall outbid the closet and the stove was hard to cook on. All of the eyes of the stove were not sitting properly.

The condo was very acomadating, loved having washer/dryer. Maintenance could have been better. Had a bad order when we got there. We did a lot of airing out. There was water left in the dishwasher so might have come from that. Some bulbs were out. Dried arrangements were covered in dust and dirt in corners. Could have been cleaner but we enjoyed our stay.

We had a problem getting through the gate our first time but called the manager and she let us in. There were 2 days of our stay the water was shut off in the whole complex. We had to contact the manager to get information about this. There was very little information in the condo about the complex and who to contact if there were problems. The condo was nice and worked for our stay.

I apologize for the inconvenience with the water. It was an emergency repair and we were only notified right when it happened. The association is really good at sending us an email when issues like this arise and I forward them to our guests as soon I get them. I’m glad you were still able to enjoy your trip:)

Dirty condo
We arrived for check in at 5pm. Unit was supposed to be available for check in at 3pm. When we arrived the unit had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. There were dirty sheets on the floor, dirty towels in the bathroom and nothing cleaned. Contacted the owners and explained the situation. She stated previous occupants checked out on Tuesday. We checked in on Friday. She was willing to have cleaning lady come on Saturday to clean for us or we could clean the unit ourselves and be compensated the cleaning fee. After driving 4 hours to get there and no other options be opted to clean the condo. Not an ideal start to a romantic weekend. The unit apparently has not been deep cleaned in a while. Ceilings are covered in dust and dust was coming out of the vents. Window ledges were dirty with dead bugs etc. Once cleaned, the unit was nice and would have had a great review. The actual property surrounding the condo was beautiful so we tried to make the most of it.

I truly apologize for the mix up on the cleaning. I can assure you that is a rare incident. Our cleaning lady schedule had not been updated and she missed the clean. We have since then started her on an app that way she is notified immediately of future cleans and also sent reminders so this should hopefully never happen again. As far as a deep clean we have her do deep cleans at-least once every month or every other month if it’s booked too solid. I hope we can make it up to you on another visit! Thanks for all your patience:)

Property has nice views and sunset but had a horrible sulfur/ rotten egg smell so bad couldn’t go out on the balcony to enjoy the view. Balcony was filthy anyway. Condo itself was dirty with hair and dust everywhere. Kitchen sink had dried food stuck in it.

Restful sleep
We had a wonderful time it was very relaxing. We had a great time swimming and enjoying view. We would definitely come back. The only reason why I went a little low on the cleaning was due to the fact that the cleaning lady did not show up. But the place was not in too bad of shape we just did a little cleaning ourselves and the owner was very gracious on refunding the cleaning fee.

Nice place but needs some work
The property was beautiful and the condo was nicely furnished, however, the kitchen was extremely small (couldn't open refrigerator completely) and everything needed to be updated. The bed was very uncomfortable!!!! We actually left a day early because I was in so much pain from it that I couldn't handle another night without any sleep. The entire place needed to be dusted (cobwebs on everything) and there was a terrible odor when you went out on the balcony so you couldn't sit and enjoy the lake view. The property itself was lovely and well maintained. We loved that it was pet friendly and enjoyed the pool areas immensely. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but I wouldn't stay more than a couple of days due to the sleeping conditions.

The Worst Communication Ever
Check-in time was 3pm. We arrived around 4:10, after reviewing the email that should have had the gate code and unit number, I realized that we never received it. I texted the number provided with no response. I called and left a voice mail. The owner called back and said the gate code had not been generated yet, but I could go to the gate and look her up and she answer to let me in. The next bad thing was that she said the unit had not been cleaned yet and someone was there before us. She implied that it was a late booking even though it was booked and paid for on 6/2. We got in the gate and walked around the property until the unit was ready which was about an hour after we arrived. I got a text message with the gate code which she said might not work for 2 hours due to the time difference. Once we got into the unit there was no further communication. We went to dinner and while we were gone the power went out. When we returned, it was very warm in the unit. Luckily, we have friends that live on the property that texted us to tell us that we had to turn the ac off for about 30 minutes and then it should come back on. I made breakfast the next morning and was going to wash the dishes only to find out that it was full of dishes with broken glass at the bottom. I ended up hand washing the dishes. If you decide to rent this unit, make sure that when you go out that you enter the door code and turn the lock into its locked position. It does not automatically lock behind you.

Arrived at condo, floors were filthy. Needs updated badly and thoroughly cleaned. It would have been nice if a directory was in the condo for instructions with security, maintenance and office phone numbers Pictures showing condo were old pictures. Bedroom receptacle was hanging off the wall and linens were old threadbare. I will not stay in this condo again. Very Dissapointed!

We stayed in this condo January 2022 for a week. It was decent. The sofa bed is not comfortable or flat but the main bed is very very comfortable. It was fully stocked with paper towel and toilet paper. They even had laundry soap!!! The shower was small but we are all short so for us that was not an issue. One night the restaurant next door had a party with loud music. That was unfortunate. We go to bed early and they were very loud but this isn’t a common thing I’m told. My most favorite part was the deer!!! There are friendly deer all over and they let you feed them by hand. I will miss them. We would stay here again. Owner was quick to respond to my questions . Price was low!

The condo is in a convenient location in the complex, near to everything. The pools were too cold to get in but we did use the hot tub which was great. The fitness center was nice and there are even showers and a dressing area there. The views are lovely and the deer everywhere are a treat! If you love nature, this is the place for you. It's definitely a getaway from the city as it is about an hour drive to downtown Austin, so if you want to be close to nightlife there, this is probably not the best spot. If you want something you can just stay and play then it's a great little hideaway. The condo itself is dated but not terrible. The jetted tub works great, washer/dryer is convenient and the condo is spacious for 2 people and 2 dogs! It is on the second floor but the elevator is right outside the condo and getting around was a breeze. There waa a bit of dust on the ceiling and around vents, so allergy sufferers, beware, though you're out on the lake in nature so probably going to have allergies anyhow! The ground were so wonderful with plenty of places to walk the dogs (and dog cleanup stations around). There's a great little barbeque and fire pit area as well as disc golf course nearby. I got a massage at the spa and it was a nice experience as well. Definitely think it would be fun to return during the summer!

Great Stay.
My wife and I decided to check this place out and right from the start it was just a beautiful place. Everything was great, the room was nice, the view was amazing, everything was great. The only thing I would point out is that at this time it was a little cold for swimming in the outside pool and the inside pool did not seem clean enough to swim and the inside hot tub was not working for some reason, but overall it's a really nice place and I will be visiting again sometime this summer.
