"Honestly, one of the worst places I have stayed in a while. Check-in was good and staff were helpful. However, from there it deteriorated quickly. The room was dated and very basic. No grill, no toaster, coffee machine was there but there was moldy coffee left in it. Walls had been repaired in a really poor way in places and the equipment was old and not clean. "The owner Chris was keen to welcome us along with his lovely 2 lab retrievers. Chris is full of local and world knowledge. The bed and bedding were by far the most comfortable I experienced in Europe so far. I wish I could have stayed longer! "
