Geographically great to reach Syracuse, Catania and Taormina. The view of Aetna is spectacular. In the evening we could see the lava! The kitchen had everything needed to prepare our own meals, and a laundry for our clothes. In the morning, we had our coffee watching the sunrise and the fishing boats coming and going. However, it is a little isolated as you will have to drive some distance for restaurants and grocery. Parking is a little tight by American standards, but possible with some care. The house is well kept and beautiful with many nice details i9n every room. We were 7 persons, 3 generations, one week in Villa Anna. The house is ideal for relaxing, but in October the gated village is nt burstling with life -but then You are close to Siracusa and Catania, if You want sightseeing and shopping.
