THe hotel is new and clean. The breakfast was amazing. The hotel staff were also very friendly and went out of their way to help you. I did not like the location because of the busyness of the street and the lack of facilities nearby, however there was a grocery store across the street. There were no restaurants or shopping areas in the vicinity. It was 1k to walk to the tourist area.

Nice, large room (Premium), but facing the loud street. Good breakfast with some local food and very friendly personnel. Only downside is the loud street in front of the hotel. Supermarket is across the street and Metro-Station just 3 min by foot (3-4 stops to most of the sights).

Great stay in Athens

You cannot go wrong staying at this Ibis. The best hotel in Athens with friendly staff! The breakfast buffet is filling and has a good selection. The cleaning staff does a great job tidying up the room when you are away. I chose the deluxe room and it is spacious with the sofa couch and 2 twin beds. First time using a car park elevator and it was fun the first time- I did not have trouble finding the location or obtaining a spot once inside. The location is central too- about 40 minutes from the airport via car, 2 minute walk from grocery store, and around 17 minute walk to Syntagma. My only tip to improve is the bathroom, when showering to add a curtain or perhaps change the glass partition to a larger one so the water doesn't spill out. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you Ibis Athens family!
