"An excellent summer getaway in the Pyrenees mountains — perfect for stargazing and relaxing near streams and natural water fountains. Just a 20-minute drive from Andorra town centre on the Spanish side. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delightful."

"Absolutely beautiful property with amazing, helpful staff. It is very close to the city but not right in the center (a short 5-minute drive). We actually preferred this.
It really was a little bittersweet to leave. We will stay there again."

Everything was perfect. The staff were really helpful, giving us tips on places to go. Iasmim and Mauro were great, also the Portuguese lady that I can’t recall her name. The hotel was clean and quiet, a good location if you have a car.

A comfortable friendly hotel in Andorran alps.easy access once you have left the city bustle behind. Good trails nearby for hiking and two jacuzzis for relaxation. Nice restaurant with helpful staff. If I needed some where to stay either in summer or for skiing this place would be it

The hotel & food was very nice in season.I stayed for 8 nights in Feb 2014 & 7 nights at end of March 2014. The hotel is right next to the chair lift but towards the end of season they turn it off which means you either have to wait for the bus down to the gondola or walk, which is ok going down the steep hill in the morning but after a long days ski its hard to get back up if the bus doesn't arrive

We live in Spain and visit Andorra regularly, I’m so glad our usual hotel was full as we found a real gem here. We were made to feel most welcome, great breakfast and beautiful surroundings. Our dog was welcome too which makes all the difference. We are looking forward to returning!

A great little Hotel. Nice position, lovely rooms, friendly staff. Also has a great restraunt just next door. Breakfast was nice and the kids game room was a real bonus.

The hotel is perfectly located near to the centre of Ordino. It is an older hotel and therefore don’t expect ultra modern, but it is very clean and comfortable, the staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. the only thing that lets it down is the acoustics, we could hear the Roomes either side and above, although this didn’t disturb our sleep.

We only stayed for 1 night on our way to somewhere else but it was great, could not fault it. Check in was nice and easy.
The room was very clean and comfortable. We had our evening meal in the Irish pub, the staff were really helpful and friendly and food was nice. They also had Guinness on draft which was fab.
Amazing nights sleep, really quiet.
We had breakfast, again very helpful staff and a great choice of breakfast items.
Would definitely recommend

The best area to stay in Asnurri is within the village centre itself, particularly around Plaça Major.
This central area is the heart of Asnurri, characterised by its historic stone buildings and narrow, winding streets. Plaça Major is the main square, often bustling with local life, and it's where you'll find the parish church and several local eateries. The village is compact and easily walkable, with most accommodations offering views of the surrounding countryside or the village rooftops.
Couples looking for a tranquil escape will find the village centre ideal. It offers a romantic setting with its traditional architecture and the opportunity to enjoy quiet evenings at local restaurants. The pace of life here is slow, superb for unwinding and connecting with the local culture.
For those seeking convenience and proximity to local amenities, staying near Carrer Major is a good option. This street branches off Plaça Major and hosts a few small shops and cafes, making it easy to pick up essentials or enjoy a morning coffee without venturing far.
When is the best time to go to Asnurri?
The best time to go to Asnurri is during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.
During these months, the weather is comfortably warm, typically ranging from 20°C to 28°C, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region. You'll find the walking trails through the Pyrenees foothills, such as those leading to the Santuario de Bellver, are particularly enjoyable without the intense heat of summer. For those who appreciate outdoor activities and cultural excursions, this is a prime time to visit.
Couples often find the spring and autumn months great for a romantic getaway. The vineyards in the surrounding Ansúria region are either blooming or laden with grapes, offering picturesque scenery for wine-tasting tours. Many local festivals celebrating harvest or local traditions also take place during these times, providing a more authentic experience.
Families travelling with children might also prefer these seasons. The milder temperatures are more comfortable for children participating in outdoor adventures like cycling along the Segre River or visiting local farms.
