Charming and well equipped rooms, great location and free onsite parking.

Fantastic Hotel, friendly staff, clean comfy room, great food and beautiful building and grounds

It is a unique Property with previous owners being Lord Byron's daughter Ada Lovelace, who wrote the mathematical algorithm for modern British computers, and Tommy Sopwith who developed his Aeroplane for the RAF. It was perfect to visit RHS Wisley, and avoid the horrendous M25 Junction 10 tail back, travelling through the Surrey countryside. It had beautiful grounds and a large lake.

Good hotel for the money

Friendly staff, had a real country pub feel but in town. Food was really good. Will definitely stay again, thank you

Friendly staff and just right for an overnight business stop

This is a truly charming and welcoming place. We arrived in the very early hours, almost at dawn, having flown in to Gatwick on a slightly delayed flight. Booked in advance and having contacted the owner they arranged everything perfectly for us, including adding an extra bed which was made up in advance and looked very cosy. Nice location and nice room. Really good staff and service and room very comfortable. Everything is well organised. If I have to be critical, there was no free wi-fi and £12 for 24 hours seemed a bit steep. I was only there for a single night but longer stays would be either without wi-fi or quite expensive for access

Large rooms, very clean, pristine condition. Friendly staff, very accommodating, allowed early check in. Fantastic experience.

If you want a place for quiet, have a light meal and a good nights sleep, then this is it. But if you want space to spread out or to do some work, not so good. It’s an ideal stop prior to an early morning flight.

The hotel was well sited for us and the indoor car park next door was very bright, safe and clean. The rooms were clean, quiet and child-friendly. We even invited our family to dine with us there. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

From the minute we stepped through the main entrance to the moment we reluctantly checked out our experience was one of sheer joy. The staff were so welcoming and professional . The hotel superbly appointed. The service impeccable. Firmdale know their business and give the client a memorable and thoroughly supreme experience.

Brilliant stay staff very accommodating and polite.

It was very clean, comfortable and stylish. The staff were friendly and polite. I felt comfortable staying there on my own
