"The Grange Lancaster was shut and we had no information about this on the website. On arrival, the only information was a tiny notice on the entrance of the hotel redirecting us to another of the grange hotels. On arrival at that hotel, there was no record of our booking and was directed to a third hotel within the chain. We spent over an hour after a long journey trying to check in. "Stayed here several times over the years. Rooms are very spacious and clean. It was our anniversary so we had a nice bottle of champagne and a card left in our room which was a lovely touch. You always get a good view of London whatever room you're in, which is a bonus. Personally I always find the check in staff could be more welcoming on arrival. We've never felt overly welcomed at check in which is a shame. That being said, other staff are always very kind and helpful, especially the door men and housekeeping staff."

"This hotel is in a central location. Rooms in excellent condition as they were refurbished in 2025. I had breakfast for the five days of my stay. As I have certain dietary needs, they couldn’t accommodate them all . An example is a fruit salad. I can’t do citrus fruits and I asked if they could give me some melon/grapes/Apple . The member of staff replied it comes already made up. Thought this was quite poor. So no fruit for me."

"The location in unbeatable . My check in staff member was very rude . The concierge staff were amazing . Went to have dinner at vicinity and was treated so rudely by the initial staff member his name was Boyce but all other staff were absolutely fantastic"
