The staff were very helpful and kind! My two friends and I stayed here for the Whistlestop race and it was a great location. Just about a 10 minute walk from the finish line and where the buses pick you up to bring you to the starting line. Also, great views of the lake! Wonderful place, I highly recommend.

The hotel was beautiful. The furnishings in the lobby and the sitting area facing the lake was gorgeous. Our room was very dated. I think if they invested in some renovations it would go a long way in preserving the beauty of the hotel. Our room was not the cleanest. There were crumbs along the window and on the side table. Bed was comfortable.

We thought that the food was really good, and the staff was very helpful! We had a long drive in, over six hours, and we were able to check in a little early, which was super helpful! The breakfast attendants were always doing a great job making sure there was fresh food and asking how things were. We had a couple questions that we asked the front desk, and they try to be as helpful as they could. The view was beautiful! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a suite with a kitchen that was way outdated and had very little kitchen items. The full size frig was nice. The stove top was rusty. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I'd recommend removing the kitchen, put in a wet bar and add a nice sitting area.

The room was cold, and we had to get someone to come and start the heat with the air conditioning unit. The bathroom was very small. My husband was cold during the night and the bedding wasn’t warm enough. There was something ( two cupcakes) left in the refrigerator. The clock was at a time that was incorrect and you couldn’t get it to get the correct time, and so in the middle of the night , the alarm went off two times! Beautiful view, the window needs cleaning.

It’s a 2.5-star at a 4-star location. The internet was spotty, and the apps on its smart TV weren't working. The a/c in room 208 turned off and had to be restarted manually. The beds were adequate, but the biggest sign that the hotel is a 2.5-star-level facility. But for visiting the state parks in the area and the Apostles, this is a 5-star choice.
