We absolutely loved our stay! Staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. Our room was adorable and the view of Lake Superior took my breath away. We can’t wait to go back. One of the best hotel stays we have had in awhile!

This place is beautiful. It was even more amazing in person than in pictures. The views of Lake Superior were so amazing to wake up to. Staff was very kind and helpful. My favorite thing was the amazing shower. Honestly it was the best shower of my life once I figured out that there was a shower head almost 10 feet above my head. It was all a top notch experience.

The architecture of the building allows you to feel you are in an ultra-private and quiet lakeside location even though it's situated right on US Hwy 2. I live in Ashland and booked this as a surprise staycation for my partner for Valentine's Day, and it was perfect. The room was cozy with the fireplace; the bar space was ample for setting up a light dinner, and Lake Superior was visible from every point in the room while neighbors were not. This may become a yearly tradition for us!
