The layout was great for the family and the house was very nice and well stocked. The location was convenient to everywhere. The home has incredible historic character that transports you back in time - you can truly feel the stories these walls could tell. But what really impressed us was the beautifully updated kitchen that had everything we needed and more. It’s the perfect example of how to honor a home’s history while making it functional for modern guests.The location absolutely cannot be beat! We loved being able to walk to all the amazing bars and restaurants nearby. No need to worry about parking or designated drivers - we could just stroll out the front door and explore everything West Asheville has to offer. I wish the yard was completely fence in at least one area for our dog to run off leash but the yard was large and lovingly maintained. It’s a lovely home in West Asheville, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops all the way to the River Arts District.
