"I was very surprised by how nice this hotel is. Front desk staff was kind and welcoming. Check in was super easy, no hassle. I was on the first floor which has been recently remodeled. It's an older building, buy you can tell they take care of it. The room was spacious, super clean, and cozy. Fridge and microwave were clean and easy to use. Shower was hot and awesome. It's nice to have a shower that accommodates humans who are more than 6' tall. FULL SIZE DOVE TOILETRIES. I cannot tell you what a lovely surprise that was!! Overall, had a wonderful stay and will totally come back next time I'm in South Bend. TIP: check out the Chinese restaurant that shares a parking lot with the hotel. Delicious!"
