The kitchen was adequate and a liquidizer would have been useful. Wi-Fi was weak and the TV unavailable most of the time but it had its plus points in that the children played with the table tennis and billiards instead! Access to the house was excellent and part of its charm was the wild life. The deer which came to graze and play in the evenings and the pheasant which walked through the grounds certainly added atmosphere. A good time was had by all visiting Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, Rome and of course San Gimignano." The air conditioning in the upstairs and first floor sleeping areas worked very well. There is no AC in the basement sleeping area or the common areas, but they remained relatively cool. The outdoor area has a great pool, patio, and olive grove/garden. The location is very secure and within easy driving of pretty much anywhere you may want to visit in Tuscany. Do yourself a favor and avoid booking through VRBO. They will charge you hundreds of dollars in fees that can be easily avoided by simply booking directly with the property. VRBO provides no value for these fees, they are an unnecessary middleman.
