Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

"The location is good. Busy road during the day but quiet at night. The cottage has the charm of being old but it does require some attend to the deco, particularly in the bathroom and the kitchen. They could do with a refresh. Top bedrooms and the ones downstairs were in good order. "

"We stayed from Monday through to Sunday; 2 adults, 12 years old daughter and 2 dogs. We had a thoroughly lovely stay here with quiet surrounds, fresh eggs for breakfast and loads of space for the dogs to run around. We spent a little time initially ensuring the dogs couldn't get out the huge garden because of the sheep and horses that live around you (and who add to the feeling of "being away from it all" ) and they were then free to enjoy their holiday too! "We enjoyed being on the country property with beautiful scenery and some sheep nearby. The place itself was clean and very nice for our family!"

The only thing that irked us a little was that it was advertised online that there was a game console but when we arrived the controllers were missing. The owner informed us that they were probably stolen by previous visitors. It's a shame as our 4 year old would have really enjoyed it. "

"Anne was there to greet us and had put up some lovely Halloween decorations which the kids loved! The cottage was perfect and very clean - lovely views over the sea with the open fire we had such a great time and will definitely be back!"

"We had a lovely weekend stay at this beautiful property in an amazing and picturesque location. The cottage has everything a family of four could possibly need and Susan was a great host. If you would prefer something a little different to the same old boring hotels and you don't want or need to be in the centre of Belfast, I would highly recommend."
