"We enjoyed our stay here and thought it was good value. Food in the restaurant was very tasty (although limited choice - only three starters, three mains (one was veggie); breakfast was very good. Friendly staff on reception, but service was very slow in the restaurant and we had to ask for our drinks which still hadn't arrived by the time our main course was served. Beautiful lounge area and bar, fantastic property and rooms were very large and spacious - but there are a lot of maintenance issues that need addressing (windows that couldn't be opened in bathroom, slightly dodgy socket in bedroom). Shame the fires weren't lit as it was a bit cold in both the lounge and dining room. But we enjoyed our stay, in a beautiful location and at a good price."

"This was a cool castle to stay in for the night!! Our room was furthest away and told we had to wait around 10mins for hot water to come in shower which was true!! The only thing is that the TV is in the wrong place! Other that that all good"
