Although it's an older hotel, the rooms are in very good condition and very clean. The food was good. I had Haddock and Chips, which sounds simple but so often people get it wrong. Here it was well prepared, good firm Haddock, crispy chips, peas that were not overcooked and homemade Tartare sauce and Coleslaw, which I appreciated, I really enjoyed it. My room was warm and the heating controllable. Parking is street parking right in front of the hotel. I'm no expert on furnishing but it seemed to have the original furniture and fittings from when the hotel was launched decades ago. And here's the thing it was all still in good condition and very clean. The mattress was a bit soft for me but hey ho. If you don't order everything for breakfast then the plate looks empty. I would defo stay again its got everything you need. Considering this trip was out of the traditional season and with Covid measures still in please they hotel facilities and staff made the short stay very comfortable.
