Overall, our stay at the Palazzo was "ok", but there were several aspects of the experience that were disappointing. My biggest concern was the substantial incidental hold placed on our debit card at check-in. This was not explained to us at check-in. We stayed five nights, and the Palazzo placed a $750 hold ($150 per night) on our card. We don't charge purchases to our room, so having that amount of our available funds tied up for the duration of our stay was inconvenient. Ironically, we were forced to charge purchases to the room this trip since what little available funds we had left were for expenses outside the Palazzo. We also experienced a complete water outage for more than an hour during our stay. Unfortunately, this occurred while we were getting ready for a 2:00 p.m. show at the Sphere. I was in the middle of a shower when the water stopped and had to rinse the soap off using bottled water we happened to have in the room. While I understand unexpected issues can occur, this was a significant inconvenience, especially at a luxury resort.

We’ve always enjoyed our stays at Red Rock. However, this time wasn’t as pleasant. We got married the night before check in. Told the receptionist we just got married and wanted to know if we could get a complimentary early check-in. She said, “No, it’s $40 for early check-in.” Seems crazy she/Red Rock couldn’t waive a $40 fee. When my husband walked up to the counter with a $20 bill, she checked us in early. Just seemed very sleazy; the receptionist wasn’t willing to do it as a nice gesture for a newly wed couple but did it for $20 tip. She was rude and barely congratulated us. Wished someone else had checked us in. Pool is very nice. Pool service was hard to come by. Bartender was very sweet but said they were severely understaffed and it showed, as many people were waiting around for service or in line at the bar. Room needs updating. AC barely worked. Right when we got in the room, it felt very humid. Bellman told us that AC coils would freeze. So our room never got cool and felt humid the entire stay. TBones and everywhere else we ate was great.

My family and I stayed at the MGM Signature for 5 days. The apartment was clean and large. I highly recommend staying at this location if you want a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
