"The main pool was closed. The front desk did not explain anything. Just gave me keys and told me to take a picture of a paper that showed me restaurants. There were no activities only a band so the resort was boring. The room door was broken and didnt open all the way.The AC in pur room was leaking water. The room was very small. There is no room service but they charge you a daily 24/day $ fee . That is horrible to charge a daily fee when there is no room service. If you miss breakfast at 10am your out of luck until 12p I would give it 2 ⭐️ ⭐️ stars because the food was good. The bar associates did their jobs. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. "

"I had an amazing time at Hodges Bay. From when I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Jaheim (I hope I got his name right). He offered me and my guest a beverage and a cool towel since it was very hot outside. We were then given a tour of the grounds by Javid and Jamar and then quickly taken to our rooms, allowing us to unwind and relax. Throughout our stay, both Javid and Jamar were very helpful even assisting us with excursions off the property. The property itself was very lovely. Clean and beautiful! I couldn’t have asked for a better ocean front resort. The beds were comfortable and once I figured out how to get the shower water to a hot temperature, I was at ease. We never had to ask them to clean our space or ask for extra towels. The room was always well equipped with what we needed. I cannot forget to mention that upon our arrival to the room, they had fresh fruits and brownies waiting for us. The beach was beautiful and we had no issues with seaweed. Access to Prickly Pear was a bonus and I cannot put into words how beautiful the scenery was. Jean-Marie was a dear! She set up travel arrangements for Barbuda. She made sure we had a taxi to and from. Anything that we needed, she made happen and it never seemed like we were asking for too much. Tanika, Anastasia, and Tango were also amazing at the bar! Drinks were strong and delicious and the food even better. The pools, the spa… Omg the spa! Everything was amazing! Please do not hesitate to book here. You won’t regret it."

The grounds, beaches, and views were stunning. The food was exceptional. Special shoutout to Mario, the lobby area bartender, who was such an amazing part of our trip. We would love to come back one day and stay here again! "
