"Visited in August 2026, nice & clean room, friendly staff, overall great experience"

"The only good thing about the property was the location. The room was clean, but very uncomfortable with low beds, no remote for the TV , a broken chair, and the slow stream of shower water was far too hot. There were none of the luxuries advertised, nor was the basement set up to eat/drink as advertised. Common areas were not clean or well maintained. The owners are clearly trying to sell the property."

"Easy check in and out Super clean and well maintained.. All staff seemed to be lovely and very helpful"

"looks exactly like the photos, very clean and tidy great value for money"

"Rooms clean and a good size. Bathrooms have walk in showers and were very user friendly. Pub 200m down the road if you don't want to cook. Such a nice surprise to have milk in the fridge and tea and coffee supplied. Spacious lounge and dedicated dining room were appreciated. Would stay again for longer to explore the area."

"Lovely apartment in a great location with an easy walk into town. We'd definitely stay again. Host was very helpful with good communication. Many thanks, we had a great time."

"The Mouse House is a very quirky little cottage set in the quiet village of Elton. You'll have everything that you need there for your stay. Bakewell, Chatsworth and Rowsley Shopping Village are all within a comfortable driving distance and Robin Hoods Stride/ Stone Circle an easy walk away. "
