The property was a short distance from Georgetown Lake, with easy access to Highway 1. Lots of parking is available and the home has a fire pit and lots of outdoor space. The house itself has a cabin feel to it, with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. However, both showers are very small, and there is no door on the master bathroom. The back bedroom has a musty smell, so we slept with a window open.
The property had absolutely everything we needed! The views of Georgetown Lake are breathtaking, and the property provided access to everything we were looking for! The location is a quiet, cozy neighborhood. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!
Perfect location for skiing; warm and cozy for relaxing
Our family stayed here for our annual Discovery Mountain ski trip. It was our first time at this specific VRBO, but we would stay here again. The short drive in the morning and afternoon was wonderful! The house had very comfy beds and linens, games to play, a well stocked kitchen and was very clean. It's not fancy - but it feels like a cozy home to relax in after a day spent on the mountain.
We enjoyed our stay. Here are a few things that could make it even better.
The master bathroom needs a door.
The burners on the stove need to be able to turn down to a simmer.
The living room could use a couple of comfortable chairs so that it comfortably seats 6.
Small family get together amidst Montana's wilderness. This house was just what we needed - safe haven for small children to run around and play while we made our meals, enough privacy for adults to escape for some quiet time, with everything we needed for comfort and modern day convenience available and on hand - coffee maker, grill, washer and dryer, TV, Internet, puzzles. It was seamless! Close enough to town (Anaconda or Philipsburg) for culture and groceries and far enough to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
OMG! The bedding!!!! SO SOFT! Decor simple and relaxing with cabin feel without overwhelm of wooden features. Prairie dogs playing in the backyard was a great bonus:-).
We felt at home here! Highly recommend! Thank you!
This was a relaxing stay, close to many outdoor activities. We were having a family reunion and we were able to host people outside, other rentals wouldn’t have allowed this. The owner was very responsive and even brought us a fan due to hotter temperatures. Would stay again and definitely recommend.
I have stayed in properties around Georgetown Lake for 25 years. This was my first stay at this location, and it was clearly the best of all the stays I have enjoyed at the lake. The property was very well outfitted and located for our fishing adventures in the area. Everything in the property was clean, orderly, and well outfitted for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The bedding and beds exceeded expectations for comfort and quality. The communications from the host were always anticipative and or timely.
We enjoyed our time so much! The house was clean and the decks were all spider web free! It was wonderful to sit outside and relax. Brittany was wonderful. We highly recommend!!
Really enjoyed a couple days at Georgetown Lake taking our family skiing at Discovery. The location of the property was superb for our trip. Everything with this property was as expected. No complaints.
Our stay was wonderful. The only thing I have to stress is to pay attention to the warning on the oven that it takes a long time to preheat. I figured it meant a few minutes extra but it actually took an hour and a half to preheat which set dinner back from the time we told our guests so dinner was VERY LATE
