Such a dissapointment
Staff friendly, but the hotel is not worth the money paid. The room stank of cigarettes, the bed sheets and covers off food. the shower is unstable, sudden hot and cold water phases either burn you or make you jump (it certainly will wake you up...). There was an open bottle of water in the mini bar and if your on a late arrival, there are only a handful of options. And if your then someone that has allergies, you basically can't eat any of it as the staff doesn't even try to accommodate for that. We had a suit pressed, was returned the day we left just on our way out, it didn't come back pressed. Complained about it the next morning during checkout, where reception supervisor said we should have complained right away in a tone that was unacceptable, made it sound as if it were out fault.
I personally think this is not a 5 star hotel as they basically failed in the most important areas during our stay. We had better accommodation and service in hotels with less stars and for less money.
The Radisson Blu in Cologne is much better, they generally seem to fail in staff friendliness and allergy accommodation though.
