Close to the centre

Pros: Location, cleanliness, size of room, ease of checking in and out, food.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Walking distance to all main sights in a quiet location.
Hotel was impeccably clean. Room was a good size. Breakfast was superb. First time in Amsterdam. If I ever return it will be to this hotel.

Great hotel well located

Pros: This hotel is nice sized rooms and is well located and has a good restaurant.
A great hotel to stay in Amsterdam within walking distance of key sites.

Nice Hotel, Great Location

Cons: Price (Too High)
Location: Everything you would want to see in Amsterdam is within a 25 minute walk from hotel! Perfect location.
This Hotel was in a GREAT location!! Staff was very friendly and rooms were nice and well kept. Baby Friendly which was a HUGE PLUS!! I would stay again

Modern, convenient but nothing special...

Pros: Location was good and our room spacious, comfortable and everything worked. There was a large screen TV (with many UK channels) and a coffee machine.
Cons: Staff - other than on the front desk, they are unresponsive and at times confrontational. I didn't feel well served generally.
Location: Central Amsterdam, near the Red Light District and centre of town. Easy to walk to the quieter parts of town from here too. Museums not far either.
Arrived at the hotel late morning and were pleasantly surprised to be checked in immediately (we thought we would just store our cases and come back and check in later in the day). The hotel wasn't the building in the picture on Expedia (I booked it because it looked like we would be over looking a canal) but found the actual site was further up the street, which initially confused us. However, once inside, we were quickly processed and in our room getting ready to go out for the rest of the day. The location was fairly central (about 1km from Central Station) and 2km from the main museums area. For those that want to enjoy the 'traditional' things that Amsterdam offers, it is very close to the Red Light district, coffee shops and lively night life. The hotel staff were a real mixed bag; reception staff and 'One Touch' service was responsive but the rest less so. I have to have a gluten free diet and found the hotel very unhelpful here, other than some cereals available at breakfast. If you want bread, it takes about 20 minutes to toast two slices about the size of a postage stamp. I dared to state that I felt the wait was rather lengthy and was challenged quite aggressively by a member of staff about this, which I didn't expect. On the Saturday night, when I asked at the bar if I could order gluten free pasta, I was told if I had wanted this, I should have told them in the morning. Most hotels now can deal with basic gluten free fare - not here!

Great Hotel

Although the cleanliness of my room was excellent it didn't get cleaned. We stayed for two nights. On Sunday we left the room at 9.30 returning at 3.30pm, the room hadn't been cleaned so we put the do not disturb as after 6hrs of site seeing we now wanted to relax. 6hrs away should be long enough to clean the room. Apart from this our visit was outstanding

Good hotel in centre of Amsterdam

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Our room was across the road from the main hotel, but there was a corridor under the street and lift access so this was a minor issue.
Location: It is in the centre of the city, within walking distance of Dam square and many. But it is a good walk to the museums.
Hotel is in a good location in the centre of Amsterdam. the room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance of many of the main attractions such as Dam square and the central canals.

Great location in the quiet area of Amsterdam.

Excellent service from the front desk staff. Rooms were small but clean and modern. The location was excellent as it was quite close to the centre of the city but in a quiet spot without the noise from passing traffic. I would stay here again.

Best location in the city

Pros: Louis the other Concierges were extremely helpful and able to book any attraction at the cheapest rares
Location: The hotel is a couple of mins from the read light district one way, Dam Square the other and Rembrandt Plien the other, so it it really central.
The hotel is centrally located but away from major roads and junctions so is quiet and feels exclusive. Whilst some rooms are on the canal the bulk of the hotel is not. The staff are excellent, helpful, cheerful and cannot do enough for you. Breakfast on a very busy weekend was a bit of a scramble but it was good and plenty of it. Bar and restaurant prices are above average but the food is really good and recommended. The newly refurbished rooms are a bit spartan with no drawers for clothes, but the linen is sparkling and beds very comfortable.

Lovely hotel, great location

Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms were spacious and clean, hotel staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel chain, have used them in Poland and Amsterdam, fab on both occasions.
