Property is located in the heart of the red-light district but we felt safe and the room was spacious and clean. Yes, it is noisy but take some earplugs and there's no reason you won't have a good night's sleep in the comfy beds. I would definitely return.

Pros -Great location, beds very comfortable in a good size room. Staff were very polite and helpful! Cons - shower and toilet room was outside the bedroom in the main corridor with a separate door key.

Room was clean daily. The staff was very helpful with information about the city and culture. We were centrally located so walking was the best way to travel to see things. We had 4 adults and booked the room with 3 beds. The website stated it slept 4. They were able to accommodate with an extra bed. Over all, very happy with everything.

This isn’t the place if you’re looking for a canal view like on social media, but it’s in a great walkable location. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the bar downstairs is awesome!

Convenient location and super helpful staff. Room was modest but clean, private bathroom was a plus. Bar staff downstairs also very friendly. You have to leave your key at the front desk whenever you leave the property but there is always someone there when you return.

We had the superior room, with the view of the canal. It was roomy, and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was great to walk to various parts of the city. We especially enjoyed the Van Gogh museum.

Fantastic location in the red light District if that’s what you’re looking for If not, look elsewhere A very busy area, but centrally located to many different attractions We booked the quad room And it was fine for us Book this if you want an authentic experience If you’re looking for something bougie Look elsewhere One last thing about the staff, they couldn’t have been more polite !!

We had so much room but the toilet was out in the hall but it was just for our room which was fine. A lot of nightlife so it was noisy but we were so exhausted we slept through it. It’s in the red light district and some say if you don’t want to see anything, don’t go out after 6 pm, but that wasn’t the case. It was much earlier. I would stay here again.

Nano at the bar was great! I had a room in the back so it was quiet (except for fridge noise). Expensive for the room, but Amsterdam is expensive. Stairs are steep. Action packed at night. Very convenient location to train station- 10 minute walk.

This was a great simple room. I was expecting the hotel to be noisy being in the heart of the Red Light district and yet I had a calm peaceful night's sleep after a fun night out. The shower and bed were great. The staff were courteous and helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Amsterdam.

Loved staying here. I felt very safe but was in the middle of everything. The bar downstairs was great and we loved sitting outside people watching while enjoying a drink. The staff was very nice and I loved that they had to buzz us in at night.

The room was huge! Great view of the canal and red district. The staff was great!!! They are so kind! My booking came with complimentary wine, which was also good. Walkable location. Due to the location, there will be lots of noise until late night. Didn't bother me personally. The bar downstairs is charming.

The room was clean the staff very helpful. Just remember you are checking into an extremely old hotel that was not originally designed as a hotel. Expect lots of stairs, funny shaped rooms and unhandy lighting and outlets. Just relax and enjoy the fun, excitement and convenience of being located in the middle of old Amsterdam.

The property is very close to a large number of bars, restaurants, museums, and, of course, the red light district. Everything in the room worked well but unfortunately this property is very old and we were on the third floor and there is no available elevator. The only big detractor from this property, and it's not their fault at all, is that you are immersed on a very busy street with lots of bars, and as mentioned, the red light district. Which makes for boisterous late night noise and goings on until as late as for or later in the morning. Also, as a result, in the mornings the streets are strewn with trash and other debris. The staff was awesome and having the small bar in the ground floor of the property was hey welcome amenity.
