The hotel is in an excellent location overlooking a busy canal. The side of the hotel has covered outside dining facing an open square and large fountain. It couldn’t have been more picturesque and relaxing.

Great location and the staff was very attentive. Special shout out to the staff at Bar Americain! That’s how you make a martini. We stayed on a weekend with our room facing the front of the hotel which got very noisy late in the evening into the early morning hours.. Would definitely stay again though.

We ended up having to choose a decent hotel for a night due to a flight diversion. The price of the room - which was very small in every possible way - was way too high. The bed was just comfortable enough but felt like a foldable bed. Staff was nice and the concierge was helpful when we were trying to get a taxi.

This is a beautiful, older hotel in excellent condition. The outdoor bar, indoor restaurant and the provided breakfast were all fabulous. It is located in a great location, within walking distance of many attractions and terrific restaurants.
