Amsterdam Pur Sang. Going out to discover Amsterdam and surroundings or just finding your quiet spot when working or relaxing, up to four can enjoy a lovely place on one of the Canals. Everything is within reach, as well as a filmmuseum, 100m high lookout or just a nice restaurant next to the water or even beach. Also going out for nature is a 15 min tour on a bike or car. Or visit one of the famous Musea Amsterdam has by walking up to one of the free Ferries and get into the tram or metro. Even by bike it is only 20 minutes away. Your host has a lot of knowledge on where one can go, all depending if it needs to be a local, cultural experience or just for food and good music. We happened to be there one day that the weather was horrible - cold, rain and VERY high winds,,,a perfect crash day for us to stay inside and rest. Comfy beds. The rooms are cosy and we had all we needed with some lovely personal touches. There was even an Christmas tree for us. Edwin was a great host and very considerate with good communication. With my husband and our 2 children (3 and 5 years old), we enjoyed very much this houseboat. It's clean, with the necessary equipments and it's pleasant to be close to water. We rent bikes and that way the location was perfect: with the ferries you are quickly in the center and at the same time you're not far from nice places like NDSM. It was very quiet there and it is also conveniently located for city trips. Edwin is a very nice landlord and the apartment is modern, very clean and well laid out.
