There was a nice bar just at the other end of the road, a supermarket, a bakery ... and it was close to the museum. The kids were delighted by the swing as you enter the apartment as well as the sleeping accommodations. Our 14 year old had a semi private space on upper level while our younger twins shared a bed below. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The location of the unit was in the "business district" so we did feel like we had to walk 20 minutes to most attractions (9 streets, Vondelpark, etc) but we were close to the Museum District which I enjoyed and there was a popular bar right at the end of the street to pop over to late-night. We also found a lovely bakery not far in the opposite direction. It was quiet on the street, tucked right off the main road. Overall a great experience for our family of 5 which can be a tricky number to find accommodations for. This apt was fantastic! The location was a short walk to museums, the train station, and best of all, BIKE RENTALS!! Hosts were very nice and responsive to a few questions. Comfortable furnishing and a nice layout. We loved our stay at this apartment and it was perfect for our family of three. We stayed for a week and were very comfortable. Our daughter loved the swing and the loft bed. The location was great and easy to get to the major sites. Convenient coffee shop and cafes at the end of the street. Francois was very helpful and responsive to questions.
