The Grade I listed All Saints Church in Northampton town centre dates back to the late 1600s. Whilst most of the church was burnt to the ground in the Great Fire of Northampton on 20th September 1675, the medieval tower and crypt remain, and the re-built church (opened in 1680) mimics the style of Sir Christopher Wren's buildings in London. Architecture and history fans will enjoy exploring the interior of the church, and most town centre chain hotels and serviced apartments are within easy walking distance of this popular landmark.
