Melia Benidorm

Posted 24-Sep-2016
Pros: Location, spa facilities, breakfast, comfortable beds cleanliness, outdoor pool, heated indoor pool
Cons: The lifts running a bit faster
Location: There are loads of themed show bars on the door step also it's near mundomar and terramitica walking distance from most of Benidorm
We have been here now 5 times and I would not hesitate to go again the breakfasts are lovely loads of choice and a long opening period, we have had evening meals and lunches before but I did get a bit bored with choice so this time we just did B and B there are so many cheap places to eat out within a quick walking distance it gave us the chance to go for a decent walk each night too. The walk if you take the sea front route is 3.5 miles to old town and back which is a hive of activity in the evenings and loads of places to grab a drink and food. The hotel has nice spa facilities a decent gym lovely outdoor pools and grounds if you like having a massage the ladies that work on site are excellent. The hotel is positioned slightly back from the main strip but on the same road where there a lot of bars and shops this is nice as it's not too loud an area and you can guarantee a good nights sleep the beds are very comfy and the rooms well sound proofed. My only issue is the lifts trying to get downstairs at night can be a nightmare even though there are four lifts you can wait ages as every one is trying to get down stairs roughly at the same time other than that it's a great hotel and I will definitely be back again next year.

Clean comfortable hotel a short walk to the beach

Posted 20-Sep-2016
Pros: Lots of choices for breakfast which is included in the basic rate.
Cons: Elevators are a little slow, but at least there are plenty of elevators in the building.
This hotel is modern in looks. The rooms are played out very nice and have a comfortable balcony. The bathrooms are roomy and have all the amenities. The room where breakfast is served is huge and there are different buffet counters, so you won't have to stand in line very long if at all.

Great hotel with nice pool area. The staff on the whole were miserable with the stand out exception of Jose & Andrea who were both exemplary... Good hotel, nice location away from the madness but only 15 mind walk to it.

NICE HOTEL CLOSE TO THE BEACH

Posted 05-Sep-2016
Standard 4 star experience. Comfortable bed, with a pull out sofa couch and plenty of English channels to choose, from a nice LCD TV. Surprised to not find Tea and coffee making facilities in the room for a 4 star hotel. Power shower with a nice size bathroom. Get a higher floor to enjoy sweeping views overlooking the ocean from a well placed balcony. Breakfast buffet was adequate and there was plenty to choose from. Lovely pool area with plenty of sun beds, however the prime ones are always taken by towels left on them from the previous day. Spa experience was superb. Massue was extremely good and the facility was very well kept. Hotel is in a good location close to lots of shops and restaurants that are all within an easy walk. 15 minute walk to the beach.

Good location, nice hotel

Posted 06-Aug-2016
Pros: Pool area, good food, clean rooms
Cons: Having to wait on lifts at busy times and very slow to open.
Location: Great location for all entertainment and beach but far enough away not to be disturbed
Stayed half board, food good plenty of choice. Pool area huge with more than enough sun beds for everyone. Activities for kids and adults if you get bored lazing about. 4 stars instead of 5 as lifts were slow. Would stay again but ask for a low floor and use the stairs.

Ok hotell med fint uteområder.

Minus at det ikke barn kan ha det artig i bassenget. Badevaktene er veldig strenge. Ingen lek er tillatt.
