We had a total of 30 guests from 9 different countries all over the world, so to make it special, we created a week of wedding festivities rather than only one day! We had an activity day with all of the guests where we chartered a private bus to show us some of the great attractions and hidden gems of Chania. One of our stops was at Stavros Beach where Zorba the Greek was filmed! We had some traditional Greek mezethes (tapas or appetizers), which consisted of lots of #seafood ! I don't know about you, but I could stare at this plate all day long. Lovely plants and shady trees surrounding apartments( sadly the plants adjacent to our particular ground floor apartment had died - faulty watering system I think). Plenty of parking spaces. 2 minute walk to small popular sandy local beach. One taverna 2 minute walk, otherwise short drive to several other tavernas. A couple of shops and fuel station 5 minutes drive away. 50 minute drive to Chania, 1 hour 50 to Rhethymno. We would very happily stay here again.
