I didn’t realize how far away this hotel was from bus stops or train stations when booking and found myself kind of stranded (I tried to walk to the bus stop 20minutes away and the streets immediately around the hotel are not designed for pedestrians). "Truly a once in a lifetime experience. We were welcomed and had our car valeted, our bags carried to our room and were shown the property. Every single staff member was friendly and so helpful and made sure our stay was fantastic. They also upgraded us to a larger room with a balcony that was closer to the baths which was wonderful. My husband and I have tattoos which are not allowed in the public baths but we had no issue finding times to use the private baths during our stay. The meals were wonderful, thoughtfully served and added to the entire experience. Will reccomend to everyone going to Japan and wants a completely immersive and peaceful experience of a traditional ryokan stay."

"For only staying two days, I was very impressed. The staff are great, rooms are larger than most in Japan, Onsen was amazing (had to use skin tape over tattoos to go in), breakfast was good. The only thing I will say is the area in which this hotel resides is a bit questionable during the night, though I never had any issues. Would absolutely stay there again."
