The hosts were lovely and most helpful in every regard. I especially enjoyed the art work on every wall. We found one of the best restaurants called Still Life within walking distance. The wifi worked well. The breakfast was fantastic. Our rooms were clean, but we were on the top floor of the building and the ceiling height was very low in one of the bedrooms such that we had to hunch over. We arrived and it was all locked up and I think the husband of the manager came And opened the door. They were going to clean and get the room prepared so we dropped off our luggage. We came back few hours later and they were just finishing. It appears the place was vacant and just opened and we were the only ones there. The place was nothing like where we booked, bathroom was awful and the street was very noisy. Early morning there was loud banging of cans outside and loud noise . It appears to be bait and switch booking scam. We gave our passport for photo when we got there and was told all set. Told them we were checking out at 10 next morning and was told just leave key in the room. We checked out next morning and told them via WhatsApp and no response until late that evening we need to pay and wanted my credit card number over WhatsApp. I contacted hotels site and said I am not giving them my number as I had no idea what they may do with my card number. Running transaction on the machine is one thing but this seems too fishy. It was a very decent option overall, with lots of marble in the property, which gave it a luxe feel. However, in the room itself, it seemed a bit dated and in need of a deeper clean. The bed was very comfortable thought.
