For some serious hiking, climb up to the Gross Lohner, a limestone mountain zone popular with ice climbers. It includes the striking peaks of Middle Lohner and Vorder Lohner, but you can also get to both by bus from Adelboden. Another fun attraction for families is the Adelboden climbing tower, an exciting high ropes course suitable for adults and children of different levels of ability. At the top is a 544-foot-high observation deck, where you will be rewarded with 360-degree views.
