Pearly Grey is a sweet little hotel in a gorgeous neighbourhood. We enjoyed the stay and there was a lot of good, but a few minor cons.
Front desk staff are kind. Parking is luck of the draw... Sometimes you get a spot (free) or sometimes you have to walk 5-10 mins from another street. We were not the usual clientele —young Canadians. The Quo restaurant is kind of mediocre, and service was friendly but disorganized. Our room was cute, we paid extra for the seaview balcony, which was my favourite part... but the bed is in need of replacement—felt old and springy. Kitchenette was fully stocked and there is a solid grocery store just 2 mins away by walking. The entertainment coming from the downstairs restaurant every night was so cringey, several different performers doing the same tracks from the 80s over and over again, night after night lol. Seemed like fun for some but not for us, but I appreciate that they are supporting local artists and performers. Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend Pearly Grey to a friend, especially for the location.
