Aci Castello, just a few kilometres from Catania, is a charming seaside village on the Riviera dei Ciclopi, famous for its Norman Castle, built on a lava rock overlooking the sea. Today it houses a small museum with geological and archaeological artefacts and offers splendid panoramic views of Lachea Island and the Faraglioni.

The historic centre, with its narrow alleys and the Scardamiano promenade, retains an authentic atmosphere and connects Aci Castello to Aci Trezza, a village linked to the myth of Polyphemus and Galatea. Here you can visit the Casa del Nespolo, dedicated to Verga’s *I Malavoglia*, and set out on boat excursions or go snorkelling in the Ciclopi Nature Reserve, a marine protected area rich in biodiversity.

Don’t miss the Baroque churches, the rocky beaches perfect for days at the sea, and the sunsets over the Sicilian sea. The property overlooks Piazza Giovanni Verga in Aci Trezza, in an area equipped with all amenities and services, and offers a unique view of the famous Faraglioni.



- From Catania Central Station, you can reach the accommodation in about an hour by taking bus 534 to stop 1661 and then walking for about 4 minutes.



- From Catania Fontanarossa Airport, take the shuttle that connects the airport to the Central Station, then follow the directions above.



- If you’re travelling by car, parking is not included; you can park (for a fee) in the vicinity of the property.
