Room we were given when we got there was a twin instead of the double booked. However this was resolved within 5 minutes in a cheerful and polite manner. Mistakes happen but a sign of a good hotel is how things are sorted out. Bar was cheerful with pleasant service. Food adequate and good value. Breakfast was excellent. A bonus was music in the lounge later on. Good for a bop!

An excellent small hotel in a rather grand Victorian house on the main road in Callendar. Easy walk into town. Great base for exploring the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Stunning scenery. Recommend going to Lock Katrine, it is beautiful. Loch Lomond was best on its east side, the west side is nearest Glasgow and attracts a lot of people in the summer. Booked a short notice overnight stay in one of the upgraded pods. It was very nice with a very nice location. It was really quiet and peaceful. We booked dinner in the restaurant and the staff wee attentive, accomodating and very polite. The food choice wasnt huge but the quality of the food was good. Wonderful stay! Lovely rooms and comfy beds! Probably the best breakfast we’ve had! Lovely homemade bread, smoothies and yoghurt pots! Hosts were lovely and accommodating! Would highly recommend this B&B

Generally very nice.

Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed

From the moment we stepped inside the door, we knew we had made the right choice in choosing this hotel. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the décor is modern and cosy, and the staff are lovely. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Accommodation was very comfortable & clean. Shower was amazing. We had a room overlooking the river. Great choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend having the full breakfast.

Food was amazing, room clean and comfortable

Room was great , enjoyed the shower as stayed in other hotels in callander and they were either frozen or no power. Had dinner in bar the food was cooked from scratch and very tasty. Staff are friendly.

A cosy cabin decorated beautifully. Everything you’d needle for a night or two away exploring the area.

Fabulous hotel for winding down. Could not fault anything. Grounds are wonderful for a relaxing walk. Can't wait to book this hotel again for another weekend break for my husband and I

I booked this for a surprise birthday gift, my friend is from Norway and he absolutely loved it. It's like having your own private apartment, the room was spotless and cleaned every day. Good facilities, coffee machine, kettle with choices of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, small fridge in the room with two bottles of water, comfortable bed and the shower was fantastic. Lovely and friendly staff. Check in /out was smooth. The family room was really large and comfortable. The breakfast options were great and at a great price too. The menu was vast and the food was delicious. Walking distance to explore the area and a great stop off point for many attractions.
