We had a lovely stay at Marmadukes. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and when we had a problem with our room we were moved straight away without any fuss. It's a beautiful building and in a great location from which to discover York. Would definitely recommend!

We wanted a hotel close to the Shambles and the Christmas market. We found the Judges Court in the perfect location and loved the look of the rooms on the website. It was a short walk from the train station and the Judges Court did not disappoint, nor did the staff who could not have been more helpful. We highly recommend the Judges Court.

Our two day stay was a joy. Comfy well-prepared room. Lovely breakfast.

Great place and host, would highly recommend

Our room (superior double) had a lovely king- sized bed as well as a very comfortable large sofa. The ensuite bathroom was well thought out with thick towels and a vanity unit with a fantastic mirror. The owners have done everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are towelling robes, hairdryer ,ironing board as well as tea and...
