However were left with a rather bitter taste in our mouths after the upgrade/room bump and felt the staff were trying to fob off a room likely rejected on a regular basis for its noise issues and undesirable location by the bar seating. That being the case after hearing it was our 10 year wedding anniversary. I also heard the staff offering other guests wake up calls and talking them through the facilities as they checked in. "Lovely stay at the stables. They have been converted to a high standard and were very comfortable for our family with two small children. It was great that there was a stair gate in the top bedroom as there isn’t a door. Had a nice meal at the local pub and in easy reach by car of local visiting sites. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and let us wander around their lovely garden. Would recommend. "

"We stayed 3 nights and found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room; a luxury double was clean and the bed lovely and comfortable. We only had breakfast one day but there was a good choice and nice quality sausage and bacon. We would definitely go back."
