"We had a great holiday at Mitsis Summer palace. We read mixed reviews before going but for us the hotel, accomodation, food options and beach were perfect. "

"The property was excellent, very open and designed to allow you to enjoy being outside. The staff were very accommodating as well, and the main buffet had selections that were varied for most tastes. The all inclusive selection was worth the expense, as there were few items that required extra fees. They have many pools, and a private beach area. The beach is not sandy, but small stones, but they are not hard to walk on. I would suggest “aqua socks” if you plan on using the beach. The water is very clean, and they have a beachside bar, as the beach is down the hill from the main hotel, which is a little walk. The only downside at the beach is that there is no “changing room” to change out of your wet swim wear. All in all we would go back, and enjoy this beautiful property again."

"Just back from a weeks stay in this lovely hotel. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The buffet lunch and dinner consisted of around 12 hot dishes / sides / veg, 2 salad bars, a fruit bar, a dessert bar, bread etc. All staff I found to be very friendly and accommodating. We spent most of our time at the Seabreeze pool and bar where the entertainment took place. The entertainment team. Joy, Peter and Helena were great and spent time chatting and getting to know you and worked extremely hard throughout the day and evening. A special thank you also to Mikel at the bar for looking after us so well!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Neptune Hotel and Resort. We were traveling with young children and they absolutely LOVED the staff, splash pad, playground, and other activities at Neppi Land. We had an Executive Beach Front apartment located on the ground floor of a 3 floor building. While the interior seemed a bit tired and dated and had no microwave (isn’t that standard?) the area outside our room was immaculate. We were very impressed with how well-maintained the pools were as well as the grounds and the restaurants. We ate at Troja Bar, Gelateria, Osteria, Main Restaurant, and Umami. Only disappointment was Umami where the fish (esp the shrimp) was not fresh. When you’re on an island you expect the seafood to be excellent and this place really missed the mark. However, the ambiance and service at all the restaurants was very good and the breakfast buffet was well-stocked with an incredible variety of delicious food. Another thing to note is that this resort primarily caters to Germans, so it was difficult finding English language reading materials in the stores (almost all the magazines and books were in German, including all the tourist guides and books on Greek mythology). Overall, we had a wonderful time and would likely book again, though might consider upgrading to one of the newer suites and request a room not on the bottom floor. "

"Pluses - Amazing facilities: gigantic pool, amazing aesthetics, plenty of comfortable sunbeds, clean sandy beach, WiFi throughout rooms, pool & beach - Modern, spacious rooms with super king beds - Room cleaning twice daily - Nice touches: wine & fruits on arrival, sun hats, chocolate after room cleaning Minuses - Average food, although they do try to make fancy dinner meals. Breakfast could add a la cart options (eggs Benedict, pancakes) & option to have it in room. Dinner menu stays the same, would be great to see it change every few days. - No 24hr room service. - Far from nearby towns & no shops/ATMs around, therefore car rental is a must have "
