Intimate & beautiful but big enough that you can stretch out your legs by strolling through well cared for gardens. Lots of flowers. A small bubbling river wraps around the property & there is this perfect spot along the river where you can sit on a bench and take in the sounds of the forest and the view of mountains in the distance. Pure bliss! It is such beautiful accommodation, thoughtfully designed. It's clean, modern, safe and you feeling totally immersed in the forest/jungle. The staff were beyond polite and helpful, always greeting us warmly - especially those in the dining area. The food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka, very authentic, catered to our needs (gluten free - even with gf bread) and so tasty. We would highly recommend this Taru Villas to anyone visiting.
