"Super location steps from train station. Cozy and nice room. Best air conditioner in England! Superb private bathroom with great shower and lots of hot water. Nuce tea and coffee selection in our room. The staff are super friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was absolutely Amazing! Again the best we have had in England. Will take care of your bags pre check in whilst you go tour the Cathedral. Over all i rate this a perfect choice and would highly recommend. Cheers "

"Room was extremely quiet and comfortable. My only criticism would be of the breakfast which being totally self service wasn’t relaxing ie no pots of tea or coffee only small mugs you made yourself. For those wanting a full breakfast there was limited choice. "

"Cosy hotel! Small rooms but even as a big guy I found it comfortable and cosy. Nice little bar where you can hangout. Strongly recommend! Worth noticing it's up a long uphill road. Nice walk for me with a bonus view of the cite but in case you have heavy luggage or feel weak it can be good to know about. There are busses passing."

"Beautiful manor house. The room was good, not to my taste in terms of design (everything brown, photos on the website were showing different designs) but all of good quality. My husband didn't find the pillows comfortable (too big) but it was fine for me. The only inconvenience was that the cooked breakfast takes a long time to wait as you order it, literally like dinner waiting time. We tried to solve that by ordering to the room by a certain time the next day but they still brought it 20min...

"We were greeted by Chris when we checked in after long day exploring Cotswold. We decided to stay in and booked a reservation for dinner. We had steak and Seabass and both meals were cooked to a perfection. All the courses were delicious from starter to dessert. The bed, bedding, linens, and soaps were luxury without loosing the characters of the house..and clean. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful. Thanks Desi, Chris and everyone (sorry, I forgot the name) so...

"Location to sites, restaurants, pubs and shopping is wonderful. Staff professional, easy check in and out. Room was larger than most, clean and quiet. Pool is an added benefit after a long day. "

"The host was fantastic and helped me plan an easy walk to a great pub for dinner and a Spectacular trip to Bradford on Avon and Castle Combs. This historic property was fully booked, and I never saw or heard another guest. It was so quiet and pleasant."
