The room was freshly renovated and quite comfortable however there were no blinds or film on the window in the bathroom making it feel very exposed. Lots of mosquitos and no repellents were provided and no window nets so could open the balcony or windows sadly. Breakfast options were very poor in comparison to other hotels we stayed at in Sardinia and mostly included sweets. The pool is amazing and good prices at the bar. A little disappointed with the food. Breakfast could have a better variety of breads and deli meats, only one type of cheese. Pastries all a bit bland, coffee was good though. We were there during Ferragosto and we were told the hotel prepares a special dinner for that. Staff are kind but clearly overstretched. We were charged €8/day for parking with no alternative, which should really be included. Breakfast starts only at 8AM with no early option, and no water or coffee machine in the rooms. The spa was advertised but was unavailable during our stay, with no prior notice. The pool bar opened only after 1PM. The biggest surprise was the coffee: machine coffee was poor, and my first cappuccino tasted of salty water (likely tap water). Though the waiter apologised and fixed it the next day, this is unacceptable in an Italian 4-star resort. Staff also had loud arguments near guests. Room cleaning was basic: towels were changed but sheets weren’t, and floors weren’t properly cleaned. The food menu is very limited and expensive. Worst of all, during checkout they tried to charge us more than double (including parking again and items we didn’t order). Only after I asked to check the bill was it corrected.
