We were able to borrow towels for the beach and boat trip at no charge. They also gave us an umbrella to use. There are several areas to enjoy the beach. It can be rocky, so bring water shoes. I love this place, and I really want to go back. One suggestion would be to provide the plug in insect repellent devices. Our room was fantastic with a view of the sea. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, croissants, and more. The only downside was that on one morning (around 8:45) the scrambled eggs were finished and they told us they wouldn’t make more, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, but since Cala Gonone is a small place, it’s quite easy to find free parking nearby, so this wasn’t a problem for us. The hotel is very close (10min walk) to the main port in Cala Gonone and to the main street that has all the restaurants and bars, so it was really convenient for all the boat tours and activities that are main thing in Cala Gonone."
