We stayed only one night and it was excellent. The staff were charming, delightful , professional and so helpful. This was especially so of the receptionists, the barman and the lady who ran the breakfast kitchen . We had a twin bedded, 3rd floor room, facing the sea, which had been extensively renovated . The decor was delightful, and the bathroom was a real triumph of style and colour. The view naturally enough was superb and the balcony was enhanced by a variety of succulent plants , just...

We stayed there for 6 nights over Christmas, this was our second visit. I can't express my delight at the service we received, the staff are the best, Jean and Joris on reception, Christina who my dog absolutely loved, the bar man, you name it everyone there worked as a team. The views are outstanding just metres from the Med with an unobstructed view. This should be a much higher rated hotel, however, it means great value for money for us, the guests. I have stayed in 5 star hotels throughout...

Spacious, comfortable room with balcony overlooking the sea. Really nice staff. They lend you a deck chair and umbrella to take on the beach. Italian restaurant next door. Supermarket round the corner. Deli and bakery very nearby. Bus to Menton outside the hotel but timetable is not great and does not work for an evening out. A good 30-40 mins walk to Menton centre. Near station for trains towards Nice etc and into Italy.
Really nice overall.

Yes our room was in a location with excellent views. The owner of the hotel was most helpful as were all the staff. My only concern is that although my wife and I are in our eighties and still relatively fit the steep stairs could prove a challenge for some. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Very comfortable, clean, cool flat, good breakfast, helpful staff, close to bus stop, and within walking distance of a large supermarket. Air conditioning was a real plus! My only complaint would be there was no sharp knife to cut bread etc but otherwise really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

The Meridien is a very well run hotel with excellent staff. Excellent facilities including beach and pool are well run and well ordered. Food is excellent too. And for Monaco the price is very reasonable. I am surprised the hotel only has 4 stars. I've stayed in many with 5 stars that don't hold a candle to the Meridien. We shall return.

This is a really lovely hotel. The rooms are very spacious and light. We had a balcony and a sea view which was beautiful. The infinity pool is amazing and there is a good gym as well. The food was also very good.

Very good value for money. Having a kitchen we were able to cater for ourselves which made the holiday affordable. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to the bay where we could use the Hop on hop off bus to get around the area and learn about it's history.

Welcome Hotel is one of the best small hotels in France. It has a lot going for it: elegant, efficiently run, in an impressive location - and with a bit of history too.

Nice hotel, market behind the hotel open every morning. Local Carrefour in front of market, with good range of essentials and a very good bread and cake shop next door.
Walking to marina and main areas of Monaco was short and easy, although it was good to have a rest at the 'Casino Cafe' in Casino Square on the way back, due to the hills.
Pleasant staff, always willing to help. Small swimming pool on the roof, with around 20 sunbeds. This was ample as there were only around 8 to 10 people up...
