"The pillows were clearly horrible, square like the ones you put on a couch. The bedding was too small for the single beds. Even when you order a double bed room you get two single beds. There are no King size nor even queen size beds, just singles either solo, apart or together. The restaurant was empty at 6PM but when I wanted to dine there with my family we were refused and told to make a reservation with an earliest option of 8 PM! So we were forced to eat elsewhere. "Only stayed for one night and arrived very late didn't see much of the facilities. But it was good that check in was available till late. Breakfast area clean and good variety of food."

Some things could be improved: - only one of the electric car chargers was functioning, the other should be fixed - nice to have a toaster available at breakfast time - juice at breakfast could be fresher & nicer - we asked for a mattress protection for the kids’ bed and all that could be found was a bin-bag. "The room was nice and the place is a boutique hotel. They left a lot of dishes and such each day in our room. Even though the bed was made. It appeared they just made the bed. No sweeping and no removal of dirty dishes. "

In the room i have jacuzzi bath which that was very nice. room big and clean, small minus so aircon was switched off but room has a fan in the wardrobe so i managed to cool down the room. "It was our second time staying at De Kastanjefabriek. Last time was with COVID in full swing, now we could really enjoy the tasty breakfast. Dinner locations are plenty in Eibergen, same with walking and bicycling trails. Excellent and quiet location. One small note for others: unless you hang the sign for "cleaning please" on your door, your room won't be touched by the staff. This wasn't mentioned to us when we checked in. "Excellent and friendly hotel, enjoyed the swimming pool. Kitchen 1st class. Public transport in the area is lacking, so without a car you'll need to walk to station c. 20 mins or to town centre c. 13 mins. No problem as long as the weather is fine. :) Check extra expenses for dog beforehand."

"We had a really nice stay - only one night, travelling through, wish we could have stayed longer! One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The large swimming pool was very clean and empty when we there. Nice bar with pool table and very friendly staff. Pleasant 15 minute walk through the forest to get to the centre. Would definitely stay here again. "
