"We encountered a peaceful, picturesque part of Wales we hadn't been before. The hosts were simply the best, the house has an "air" of being comfy, calm & chilled. We were blessed with our hosts Karen & Bernie - who are so gracious & welcoming ("Thank-you so, so very much") - Karen's breaky was to die for - as my Mam would say 'what more do ya want - jam on it' speaking of which, is home-made no less & just outstanding. Thank-you again & it was OUR pleasure to have met such an amicable couple...

"Property is in a quiet location but only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre for cafes bar etc. Propety is in excellent condition though you do have to watch your head on the mezzanine floor due to ceiling height. I would definately return."

"From the first welcome out goats were friendly approachable and helpful , the room was excellent and very welcoming after a day walking through the hills it contained everything we could have needed Food !!! "Fantastic service from the owners, they made us feel very welcome upon arrival. The beds were super comfortable and that was coupled with a great view. Lots of little details which added character to the room and gave it a homey feel such as small ornaments. The breakfast was lovely, a large selection of cold meats, pastries etc even though it was only us staying. Only a 10 minute drive to Newtown so it has everything you need."

"Chris and Val are excellent and friendly hosts and can provide you with a plethora of local information on places to visit and eat at. It was a pleasure to be able to stay with such a nice couple. The only thing to note is the Shower Room is a little tight but, you do not stay in the Shower Room and this should not put you off staying. Once again, thank you to Chris and Val especially for the excellent and plentifull breakfasts and scones. "

"Very nice hotel with excellent friendly staff. Food was very nice. Free EV charger available but located far side of caravan site, but not a major problem unless you have disability problems."

"Loved it. Room was adequate (once you’ve got used to all the creaks and bumps). This is a 16th century building in all its glory. Food was plentiful, well cooked and hot. Although our room over looked an island there was no problem with road noise. There was plenty of parking front and rear. Cannot sing it’s praises enough, in fact we’ll be going back just as soon as we can. Loved it!"

"Huge place and comfortable enough. TV has no signal and there was no sign of a wifi code and no connection that I could make, so pointless having a tv in the place as not useable. Rooms were comfortable and big, bathroom is very nice too, shower needs some attention though as the top head is so limescales it sprays over the top of the shower and on to the floor, and there is some bad mould on the base, door runners also not working properly. Great location and for the size of the place not...
