"Beautifully clean and presented, 20 min walk into Calheta beach. Fantastic staff. Breakfast is freshly prepared daily and is delicious. They also have a restaurant for evening meals, and the food is good, but nothing mind blowing, we expected a bit more as it was offered as a ‘tasting menu’, but that’s the only downside. We stayed for 5 days in the Groto room and it was huge and well appointed. Would return! I was ill on the last day and we asked to check out as late as possible so I could recover, they did their best to help and we checked out 3 hours after time, thank you! "

"Always our go-to for winter sunshine. We stay in a suite, which is actually an apartment and is perfect for us. Have already booked for my husband's 60th birthday next December, as it's where he wants to be for his birthday!"

"Our staying was not perfect but very reasonably good. Hotel is a "bit" outdated but location is good with perfect nature exposure. The room was huge with ocean view. The staff is excellent, patient, polite and very helpful. The dinner was slightly below expectation, and we opted to taste it only once."
