"Lovely sized room for the two of us and our dog. Very welcoming to dogs throughout the whole Inn, which was very much appreciated. Comfortable bed, clean room, nice bathroom, shower ok, a little noise from music downstairs, but all went quiet about 10 pm. Nice breakfast and also enjoyed an evening meal too!"

"The hotel is centrally located with access to all the amenities within walking distance. What sets it apart is the unexpected gardens at the back of the property where the accommodation is. A really pretty oasis that is carefully maintained. The accommodation itself is beautifully furnished and a lot of thought and detail has gone in to the added extras that make your stay extra special. Also need to mention the staff who go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Excellent...

"Lovely stay. Superb service especially at breakfast. Very high quality accommodation and lots of nice touches - complimentary gin and tonic in room, fresh coffee, dog treats and poo bags, dressing gowns etc. Staff very friendly and polite. "

"Good value for money, extremely clean and very friendly. There is a also crockery and microwave in the room so it's possible to eat in. The village pub does not do food, and the take away/ restaurants do not have good write ups. Recommend bringing a picnic. Breakfast was well cooked with local good quality ingredients. "

"I was welcomed warmly. The property is well maintained and pleasing to be at. My room was well looked after clean and with Towels and shower products well presented. Food was well priced and the drinks available at the bar were really good, with craft ale available. Parking was easily used and close to the rooms."

"The fabric of the hotel is gorgeous and the grounds are stunning. Our biggest disappointment was breakfast. We had a full English and the bacon was awful. It was over cooked and had then kept in a warming drawer for too long. The result was cardboard that we couldn’t eat. Also the white toast was so dry that it was like a crisp. So disappointing as we always look forward to breakfast when we’re away for the weekend."

"I stayed here with my partner for his birthday. Our room was fantastic! Very clean, any small extras that we could of thought of were included such as robes which was a nice touch. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The luxury of a huge shower and roll top bath was a lovely extra. Mini fridge in room was great to keep a bottle of wine cold. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were available. The cafe/ bakery downstairs was lovely. Coffee was good and cakes/pastries were reasonably priced....
