"I really liked this hotel. The staff were exceptional and friendly and it was in a very picturesque location. The bar and restaurant were great and I’d definitely recommend staying here."

"The Mecure is a walkable distance from the train station, and from its front doors and front rooms one can look right down a main avenue to the Esplanade and the Firth of Clyde. The staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast had a wide choice of buffet items. I also had supper two evenings in the hotel, and the wait staff plus food were very good. The items for vegetarians were fine, but not much was available for vegans. Because of my knee and hip surgeries, I had to ask to change rooms to have a walk-in shower. Do note, if you cannot climb into a tall-sided and narrow bathtub, you need to ask for a room with a walk-in shower. They made the change of rooms for me."
