"Stayed here as an overnight pit stop on a long journey. I wasn’t sure what to expect as it was very cheap. So I kind of wasn’t getting my hopes up for it being nice. However I was actually pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable and clean, bed was comfortable. My only little gripe was a little bit of black mould on the shower silicon. The bathroom was spotless apart from this, but it’s a pet hate of mine in hotels as it just doesn’t look pleasant. Breakfast was also surprisingly ok, and...

"Very reasonable price, surprisingly big standard double room with a work desk & chair and big bed. Everything clean. Good shower. Noise level was fine, everything was silent by midnight. Bed was pretty hard but that's better than getting poked by springs I guess! Didn't stay for breakfast but it's just toast/cereal. Can't complain for the price though. 24hr staffed front desk. Would stay again if I had a need in the area."

"We were given the family room on the second floor instead of a double room due to double booking. I would not recommend it if you have knee problems as there is no lift. Bed is comfortable had a good quiet nights sleep with the heater turned off. It is conveniently located to the Royal and Derngate theatre. "
